Eye Demon

Remember that Beholder? Yeah well he got transformed into something worse. So what happened was after the eye tentacles turned into a bust, I decided to make a bunch of horns, stab em full of toothpicks and jab them into this dude's head. Following that I slathered him in hot glue, using the DM Scotty's technique to make a kind of veiny texture. Then after having it sit on my desk for hmmm 2 weeks, I decided to flat black prime him, base coat him dark purple, add a secondary coat of lighter purple focusing on the veins, a touch of dry brushed red, burnt umber for the horns with a burnt brown on top, and added vanilla ice cream white to the teeth and spikes. All in all it was worth it. The Frost Ranger next to it is for scale and no I didn't paint him.
